Are you coming to the end of your quilting project and are not sure how to finish it off? After all the time and effort you’ve put into creating your beautiful quilted masterpiece, it’s important that you complete it perfectly. There are a number of ways you can do this - here is one example:
- Make sure the needle and thread goes through each layer, reaching the back side of the quilt.
- Make a loop with the thread and put the needle through it to make a knot.
- Pull so that the thread goes into the ‘quilt sandwich’ once again, checking that the it moves through the batting fabric.
- Trim the excess thread.
