My February 11th blog showed a picture of a single Inklingo block - The Rose Star Block.  The following pictures show the finished project.  Unfortunately, the olive green in the fussy-cut centers came out yellow green in the photos, so not as pretty as in the February 11th picture.

Rather than making a long table runner with the blocks lined up end to end, I chose to create one that was shorter and wider for my Oval table.  The table runner is both hand and machine pieced, then machine quilted.  It was fun and I think it created a unique project.

If you haven't tried Inklingo yet, go to Inklingo.com.  Such fun!

Wow, Glenda! I came today looking for pictures of your COTSG mystery quilt and found this instead. How did I miss this one? It's lovely. The fussy cutting makes it extra special. Hugs, Linda & Monkey

Pretty. What size hexis and diamonds did you use?

Thank you. The pattern is on Inklingo - The Rose Star. It is made up of "kite" shapes (no diamonds) - which is what the little speckled purple points are. If you put enough "kites" together, it forms a hexagon, so I just bypassed piecing the kites where the Hexagons are. The pattern may be made in a variety of ways, including with hexagons. Take a look at Inklingo to see how pretty they are. Click the Inklingo button on the right of the screen to link to Inklingo.
